About me

The idea of photographing spectacular landscapes comes from my lifelong drive to experience the world through closeness to nature and travel. To me, every photograph is more than just a picture: it is an attempt to capture a fleeting moment of beauty and turn it into a lasting memory. In the moment of taking a picture, I try to make my own view of nature’s uniqueness and the mood of the place tangible.

Photography is an outlet for me, a way of making my imagination, emotions and impressions of our world visible as an image or a video. It connects technique with feeling and planning with intuition. Often it is small details, a certain light, a moving cloud or a mood that make a scene special to me.

My enthusiasm for this form of art, landscape photography, grows with every year. “Painting with light” describes exactly what drives me: creating something new from natural elements, weather, time and perspective, something that feels real and poetic at once.

My work focuses on landscape shots and long exposures. My pictures are characterised by interesting places, spectacular yet always true to nature colours, and expressive viewpoints. It matters to me that every photo stays authentic and shows the moment the way I experienced it.

I currently shoot with the Sony Alpha 7R IV and the Sony Alpha 7 III, combined with various lenses for the Sony E-mount system. This combination lets me react flexibly to different situations, from wide panoramas to fine structures in the details.

Feel free to look around my website and discover my work. Every photo is of course one of a kind. After all, I was the one who pressed the shutter at the decisive moment. :)

"Landscape photography lets me travel to and linger in places I would otherwise never reach. It is a vehicle for being more in nature."

"Memory holds only a fraction of what we have seen with our eyes. Photography makes it possible to preserve these moments for longer without losing the power of the light. They can be revisited again and again."
