My name is Michael Holzinger, and over the last 10 years landscape photography has become a true passion of mine.

What fascinates me most is the unique combination of nature, travel and hiking, of moving consciously through impressive landscapes and waiting patiently for the perfect moment.

With current photographic equipment I try to capture moods, light and atmosphere as authentically as possible. Whether in the early morning, when the first rays of sun light up the landscape, or in dramatic evening light in the mountains, every place tells its own story.

To me, photography is not just about recording a subject. It is about experiencing the moment and being able to share that special mood with others.
